Refund Policy for Hypescribe Subscriptions - money-Back Guarantee

1. FREE TRIAL TERMS

1.1 Free Trial Overview

HypeScribe offers a 7-day free trial that provides access to a paid subscription tier with a limited number of credits. To activate the free trial, you must provide a valid payment method, such as a credit or debit card. No charges will be made during the trial period.

1.2 Automatic Conversion to Paid Subscription

At the end of the 7-day free trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription, and your payment method will be charged the applicable subscription fee.

You will receive an email notification at the time of trial activation, 7 days before the charge occurs, informing you of the upcoming payment, the exact amount to be charged, and instructions on how to cancel.

1.3 Cancellation During Free Trial

You may cancel your free trial at any time before the end of the 7-day period at no cost.

Upon cancellation:

  • Your auto-renewal will be stopped, and no charge will be made to your payment method.
  • Any unused trial credits will remain available until the end of the 7-day trial period, after which they will expire.
  • No refund is applicable during the free trial, as no payment has been collected.

1.4 Post-Trial Grace Period

If your free trial converts to a paid subscription and you did not intend to continue, you may request a full refund within 24 hours of the first charge, provided that no new credits beyond those granted during the trial have been used after the charge.

To request a refund during the grace period, contact support@hypescribe.com or use the cancellation option in your account settings.

After the 24-hour grace period has elapsed, the standard refund provisions of this policy, Sections 2–5, apply.

1.5 Non-Refundable Trial Usage

The free trial itself is provided at no cost and is not subject to refund.

Credits used during the free trial period are non-refundable and non-transferable.

2. SERVICE QUALITY GUARANTEE

We guarantee the quality of our transcription services. You may request a refund if:

  • Transcription Accuracy: Your transcription quality falls below 90% accuracy due to our service limitations.
  • Service Availability: Our service is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours during your active subscription period.
  • Feature Functionality: Advertised features do not work as described in our service documentation.

Quality guarantee claims must be reported to our support team within 7 days of the service issue occurring.

3. BILLING ERROR PROTECTION

We will provide immediate refunds for:

  • Unauthorized Charges: Any charges made without your consent
  • Duplicate Billing: Duplicate charges for the same subscription period
  • Incorrect Plan Charges: Charges for a different subscription plan than selected

Billing errors are typically detected and corrected automatically within 48 hours. If you notice a billing error, contact support@hypescribe.com immediately.

4. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Monthly Subscriptions: You will retain access to your subscription benefits until the end of your current billing period. No refund is provided for the current billing period unless covered by other provisions in this policy.
  • Annual Subscriptions: You may receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription at our discretion. The refund amount will be calculated based on the remaining full months in your subscription period.

5. NON-REFUNDABLE SERVICES

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Completed Transcriptions: Transcription services that have been successfully delivered to your account
  • Used Features: AI chatbot interactions, summaries, and other premium features you have accessed
  • Downloaded Content: Transcripts, documents, or other content you have downloaded or exported
  • NoteTaker Recordings: Meeting recordings that have been successfully processed and made available to you

6. POLICY VIOLATIONS

No refunds will be provided if your account is terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service, including but not limited to:

  • Abuse of our service or systems
  • Fraudulent activity or payment disputes
  • Violation of usage policies or community guidelines

7. REFUND PROCESS

To request a refund:

  1. Contact Support: Email support@hypescribe.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line
  2. Provide Information: Include your account email, reason for the refund request, and any relevant details
  3. Review Process: Our support team will review your request within 48 hours
  4. Resolution: Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method

8 REFUND METHOD

All approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method.

9. PROCESSING TIME

  • Review Time: 48 hours for initial response
  • Processing Time: 5-7 business days for approved refunds
  • Bank Processing: Additional 3-5 business days depending on your financial institution

10. POLICY CHANGES

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will:

  • Post the updated policy on our website
  • Send email notification to active subscribers at least 30 days before changes take effect
  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy

Continued use of our service after policy changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
